This is the time of year I like to knit Lopi sweaters. There’s a chill in the air, it’s holiday season, and it just feels like Icelandic sweater weather. So, I’ve taken a break from designing to create two new Lopi sweaters, and I’ve stayed with a neutral color theme for both. I’m pleased with the way they’ve turned out!
The black sweater is made with a tweed Lopi wool I’ve been eager to try out. I was worried the white tweed flecks would interfere with the yoke pattern, but they don’t at all.
These two sweaters won’t be available for purchase until after the holidays, because my star model is still in the UK. But stay tuned! There will be more photos right after the holidays!
