And now for something slightly different...I love And now for something slightly different...I love creating my own knitwear designs, but at times I also love to fall back on old classics. Here is one of those classics: an Icelandic Lopi sweater, made from #alafosslopi wool, in shades of blue and natural white. I love the dark and light fleck in the main color! This sweater is incredibly warm and water resistant due to the natural properties of Icelandic sheep wool. You can find the sweater and others for sale in my Etsy shop by searching Brigiknits as the shop name.

The two different lengths included in the pattern will offer knitters flexibility. I made these mitts using @knit_picks luxurious Twill, a 100% super wash merino in Crabapple. So soft and warm!

Take a look at my linktree to find the pattern on @hi.ravelry with $1 off purchase now through Monday 6 March.

Garvamore mitts come in two different lengths: gauntlet (long) and wristwarmer (short). The simple center cable is great for beginners learning how to knit cables.

The pattern is available for purchase with an automatic $1 discount at checkout, now through March 6, on Ravelry (find it on my Linktree in my profile!)

Hello everyone! I am looking for 3-5 test knitter Hello everyone!

I am looking for 3-5 test knitters for each size of my new Garvamore Fingerless Mitts design! #Garvamore mitts come in two lengths: wristwarmer (short) and gauntlet (long).

I am running the test in my Ravelry group (click on the link in my bio, and it's the very first link in my linktree). However, I understand if you are not able to join us there, and we can stay in touch through Insta or email if you prefer.

If you are interested in testing and meet all of the requirements, please leave a message for me below!

Test Knitter Qualifications:

1. You are an advanced beginner/intermediate knitter who has experience knitting cables and knitting in the round.

2. You have 100-150 yds (91-134m) worsted weight (#4 medium) yarn available OR can purchase it for the project.

3. You can complete the test by the deadline, which is February 28.

5. You are able to create a project page on Ravelry with photos of your project, or share photos on social media.

6. You can send regular updates on your progress and ask questions, either in my Ravelry test group (click on the link in my bio) or through Insta.

If you meet all of these requirements, please leave a message below and let me know!

I will choose 6-10 testers (3-5 for each length mitt) and I will let you know quickly if you have been selected. Keep your eyes open for a DM from me.
