Hootenanny Cardigan

This sweater is a real hoot! Owls perch together around the body of this cardigan, showing off their plumage in bright autumn colors. The Hootenanny cardigan is worked flat from the bottom up to the underarms, sleeves are worked separately and attached, and then the raglan yoke is worked flat as one piece. Short rows shape the back neck for a comfortable fit. While the stranded knitting design calls for up to four colors at once, all shaping is done in one color only. A second version of the chart is included with only two colors per row, for those who choose to use the duplicate stitch method to add extra colors after knitting is complete.
