Holding Pattern

I write in the midst of a crushing migraine, so forgive me if I keep this post short and sweet!

There is so very much going on right now in my tiny little world of knitwear design (also in global terms, but let’s just set that aside for a moment). I’m hoping, in more or less a month from now, to unveil my collection of ten designs, and then I’ll be bombarding everyone non-stop with pretty pictures and helpful tutorials. I have everything almost ready to go! But even beyond this collection, I have a design in production for publication in a print collection, another waiting on yarn support so I can test one of the sizes and release it, a freebee pattern ready to go with the release of a new yarn line, and several patterns in the works! If only I could share it all with you NOW!

In the meantime, here’s a quick little sneak peek of a design I hope to release in the next week or so. For those who have enjoyed my Cowl’s Meow pattern, this is a companion piece for all the pooch lovers out there. I’m excited to show off the full project soon!

And while I have at least 30 projects I am supposed to be starting “next,” I can’t help but remember that it’s SUMMER and DREADFULLY HOT and NOT SWEATER WEATHER…or is it? I might just throw together a little something with this lovely fingering weight cotton flake, just because!
