This has been a long time coming – a year and a half, to be precise! But the time is finally here, and I’m so excited to release my new collection this week! So let me give you a sneak peek of the Woodland Critters Collection!

I’ve worked so hard to develop these ten designs, all centered around the theme of woodland flora and fauna. The namesake piece, of which I’m giving a glimpse above, is the Woodland Critters Scarf and it features dozens of animals, flowers, and trees in a tubular stranded knit scarf. The nine additional designs incorporate motifs from the Woodland Critters Scarf to create garments that reflect the overall woodland theme. Here’s an example: The Fox and the Hare Socks borrow the sweet little red fox and tiny forget-me-nots from the scarf, and pair them with a hare motif for a fun game of chase!

I wanted this collection to include garments for the whole family: adults, kids, babies, and accessories. I’m excited to offer designs that can be made for parent and child, like the Acorn Fingerless Mitts:

Some of the kid’s designs are really fun, and I feel like knitters are always on the lookout for new children’s designs, like the Little Stinkers Sweater:

And the fun isn’t limited to kids’ designs. I’m especially proud of the adult size sweater in the collection, the Hootenanny!

There is so much more to come, so please stay tuned over the next weeks to see highlights and tutorials for all ten designs. The collection should be live on Ravelry by Wednesday, September 9, and I’ll probably add a very quick blog post when it goes live.
Thanks so much for taking a sneak peek, and happy knitting!
This set is very cute. I love rabbits. I may need this set just for the socks:-)
Aww thank you Elizabeth! I love rabbits too! It was fun to choose all the little critters to include in these designs!
